I've lived here for about a year now and overall I'm happy, though I do have some problems with the apartment.

The only two really good things about these apartments are that they're quiet and reasonbly priced. The things that bothered me really were the gates, crime, parking, reckless kids, and garbage.

This is supposed to be a gated and secure community, but the gates are broken and open about 80% of the time. It's nice and all not having to fumble with my remote to open the gates, but I would much rather have the closed gates.

Related to the gates, there have also been several robberies during the year that I have been here. I know robberies do happen, but I've lived in bad apartments and nice ones like these and this place has had the worst crime (which is wierd since it's in Plano and my other apartments have been in Dallas).

My biggest problem with this place is the parking. If you do get an apartment here, make sure you either get an apartment with a garage or buy a garage, even if it's not right by your apartment. There are about 12 parking spots within a short distance from my apartment and I am rarely able to get any of those. Usually, if I'm lucky, I get a parking spot by the mailboxes and only have to walk halfway across the complex. If you ever have to come home late, you will have to park all te way across the complex. I've even had to park outside of the gates before just because there were no spaces.

The Reserve is a child friendly place that has a lot of famalies here that let their kids play in the streets. This usually doesn't bother me, but I very rarely see these kids being watched and are generally running around the streets unsupervised. I drive though the streets here slow and I still have almost his kids that are running around the corners or are riding scooters without paying any attention to cars. If you move here, watch out for the kids that just don't pay any attention to the cars.

The last point I have is the garbage. This isn't a big thing, but they only let you take the garbage out at very specific times and fine the building if you take it out at other times (though that has never happened even though). What generally happens with garbage is that you bring it out and then it sits there all day waiting to be picked up. If you do miss taking your garbage out in the morning, there is one dumpster you can take it to, and it's just in an inconvinient place.

Over all, this has been a decent complex. The staff is nice and it just has the few problems stated above.
