Nice apartment, constantly changing office staff

I moved in June 2005 and have been satisfied with my apartment, but it was not a good choice for someone who is young and single. I was new to Dallas and didn't know any better.
There are lots of families with children who run wild through the parking lots and you worry about hitting one every time you get in the car. The gates are broken 75% of the time - that is not an exaggeration. The equipment in the fitness center is also in poor condition. At one point we did not have trash pickup for a while and everyone had to walk their trash 1/2 mile to the dumpster. The office staff acts like trash pickup is a priviledge and threaten to discontinue it for the entire community b/c some people put out bags too early.
There has been a broken down car parked in front of my apartment for an entire year. I have complained multiple times and they will not tow it b/c it belongs to the housekeeper, who chose to park it in the first parking space in front of hte building and use it as a storage unit.
The office staff is constantly changing. In 1 year I've seen 3 completely new groups of people, but all have been very nice. However, when I did put in maintenance requests, they were completed by men not in uniform and a different guy each time. For a 22 year old woman living alone, this was a little scary b/c you aren't sure if he actually does work for RPC.
