Been living here since March 2008, and it's been a great experience. Everything in my apartment works properly and my elec bills in the summer average around $70 a month (keeping the temperature at 75 the whole time). The front office staff is very professional and courteous.
Pros: A very quiet complex during the weekdays. The weekends are a different story, you can hear people go up and down the stairs like they have to make massive BM or something, but I get the feeling that it's not limited to just Sheridan Park. You will, on occasion, hear 'performance exhaust' zoom by your unit, but it's not like a daily thing, I just kinda point and laugh at them now, haha stupid ricers.
The makeup of the residents is very typical of Plano: lotsa diverse families with children and their dogs. Young people like myself are scattered few and far between. I have not seen any thugs or rif-raf frequenting the joint.
Cons: My roof leaked when it rained and some of my stuff got wet, and I'm not even sure how it happened, because I'm on the second floor! :( However, the maintenance men fixed it the following weekend (I just know it doesn't leak anymore).
A loose tile in the bathroom.
The handle to the patio door keeps breaking off.
The guy in the unit above me, I have to hear his toilet flush LOUDLY every time he goes and it's disturbing because his toilet is right above my kitchen!
Parking sucks...especially around building 2 near where I live. It's ridiculous that I pay to live here and I gotta fight for parking with people that don't'' Don't leave afer 8pm or else you will lose your space. Or else just pay for your own spot or garage.
