I'm really not sure how they can justify raising my rent for a one-bedroom by over $150. This complex is in desparate need of painting and other basic maintenance. When I moved in here in August 2005, this was one of the best deals around. Recently however, I am getting exactly what I am paying for and cannot wait until the day I move out. This place is now infested with kids that scream, yell, bounce balls and bikes off of cars, and otherwise roam free without parental supervision at all hours of the day and night. The management staff also has a very laissez-faire attitude when it comes to dealing with maintenance or disturbance concerns. Due to the rent hike there are many many better options throughout Plano.

I agree. I also live here and can't wait to move. I also have been told of a $150 price hike. Steeplechase is crazy to do this. These aparatments are much older then apartments across the street and are now asking for prices that are the same or more then they are asking and the other apartments are gated! Steeplechase has also hired a towing company that will tow you car if your inspection or registration stickers are expired. I say stay out of peoples buisness. That's getting too personal.
