This place is terrible. Parking is only good because the are numerous apartments empty. The maintenance needs help. I submitted numerous requests via their online system, and received no help. The only way to get them to fix anything is for me to go in and tell them. When they do repair, they put holes in your wall, take forever to repair, and almost always makes a huge mess that I end up cleaning up. They are constantly turning off the water to do maintenance. Once they told us the day before they had to turn off the water to fix a leak they had found. The water wasn't turned off, so I asked why (if you are going to turn it off on Monday, don't wait until Tuesday to do it), they told me the leak stopped. Just because the leak stopped doesn't mean it isn't there. They do no preventative maintenance. And that is why they are constantly turning off the water. I had one week, that they turned the water off for three days during the day. I have a family that is there constantly. That means they can't even use the bathroom. And Steeplechase does not make any accomadations for its tenants such as port-o-potties. When I moved in, there were numerous things broken, leaking A/C, broken ice maker, broken glass mirror. Which they did not repair until 9 months later. I have rented in over 10 different places in my life in numerous states and countries. And this is beyond the worst of them all! I was all too anxious to leave this environment. It was the best decision I made my whole time there.

If you have a family and want a nice environment for them, this is not the place. Noisy!. Maintenance comes into the apartments way too often when you don't need them, and they don't come in when you do. Or it takes a month for them to do it. Cops come by a lot...That has to do with the drug problem.

that's funny about the cops. i have lived here 2 years, and i have never seen a cop in the complex.......

metalhead that is funny because I drove through the complex tonight just checking it out as a prospective apartment and there was a definite police car.
