I lived in building 5 and had smoke coming through my dryer connection from the smokers down stairs. Management didn't believe me. I should have brought them in to smell the smoke. They would light firecrackers towards the trees near the pathway by the pond. It would start at 11 o'clock. I was so scared. I often wonder what was next to come. I sure found out. Later we had roaches due to the those neighbors and more when they moved out. I complained to the office and they did nothing. Below me were some nice people who were angry at Barbra (manager) and moved out. They were replaced by a crazy nut who terrorized my family. He played music all hours of the night, smoke right under the vents into our house, and BBQ and have the carbon monoxide full force into the apt. (when we asked him to stop), he would say mean things to my husband,throw a bottle of beer on my porch, and try spray painting my door from right outside his door. My kid was terrified of him. She would get the shakes. I was not allowed to be home when my husband was at work at night. Then we would get home late from getting him from work. My kid barely got sleep but had to go to school every morning. I was pregnant too and needed to rest, but couldn't. I often went to Irving to stay at my parents house During those times we did call the Police on site which caused his behavior to worsen towards us to the ex. above. Barbra didn't care to help us, until he told her off, then he was on her ---- list. And so was I because I called the main head quarters to file a complaint on her. They are like her...they don't care. We had to move because I no longer felt safe being at that location. So we moved during my pregnancy. And yes I literally moved. Come to find out that another tenant experienced a similar problem of Barbra's lack of management. Her neighbor at the time was yelling then pushed my friend. My friend grabbed the guy who pushed her and then she fell back. My friend called the cops and she and him got tickets. Barbra did nothing to protect nor defend my friend. She didn't want to be bothered. This case went to court and my Friend won. Barbra's inaction for people's safety finally was put to the test when a taxi driver was shot and died at the dark part of the complex.

So we moved to bldg. (and knew the old neighbor was going to move out..we didn't know when. So every so often he would see our car and blankly look at us driving by. As I said earlier I was on her ---- list. During that time there was a new girl named Jamie. She is what you call Barbra's mini me. She acts like she is better than every tenant. Watch out for her. She's the same. Only difference w/ her is when she loses anything she is quick to blame you and others for her mistake. This could cause people to go homeless. But,like I mentioned neither Barbra nor head quarters cares. They just want your money and want to protect their assets. Its all about the appearance.

While we lived here the water was turned of constantly. People came in our house all the time. Other people would come by every two weeks to pick up furniture and misc. items that tenants threw by the trash to sell at a flee market. I kept giving the office the plate #s but nothing happened. My refrigerator kept leaking water at the bottom of the appliance. I was promised I would get a new fridge for 5mo. Then was told I had to pay extra for a new fridge or wait until a new tenant wanted an upgrade then I would get the hand me down. That took three more mos. Of course the roaches never went away until I bought some boric acid w/ water in their small caring case. I had always came in to tell the office that I wanted the exterminator guy there so the roaches could go. He told me to clear everything out of my cabinets and vacuum and wipe the shelves etc. It just so happened that my husband called the office for the pest exterminator guy to come to the house. He went to the office to tell her that my apt. was fifthly etc. So she wrote me up for what he told me to do. She refused to retract it it. Yes I called head quarters and they again didn't care. I soon come to find out that she had it in for me and wanted me out. One accident was completely my fault and I got written up. That I take full responsibility. The white maintenance guy w/ dark brown hair and mustache thinks his crap don't stink. He was so angry he had to come and fix the mess I made that he threw a fit. I told him to get out of my house and that I would clean it up. Later Barbra added the note about the two roaches playing crabs in the corner of the bathroom. This to be was to added to a list of reasons why she wanted us evicted. By the way, when you are home do not leave dishes in your sink and your trash by the door to be thrown out when you are done. She will write you up for that too. I had to make trips to the dumpster late at night when my trash was full so she'd stay off my back.

At the beginning of our second location It was extremely hot and the electric bill was 350.00 a month during the summer and it was still hot. Barbra never wanted to fix it for us. She said if she fixed it for us, then she would have to fix it for everyone.Finally after the water from the attic was coming through our ceiling in several places we had new ducts. Our eclectic bill dropped down to 150 going to have a heat stroke.

Barbra didn't care that my family and I had no where to go, just as long as she'd have her pretty serene luxury apartments for new tenants. Again I had to move pregnant w/ my third child. All my furniture was moved to a storage (to get rid of the roaches) and moved again to my next location. Which made us behind in our electric bills and etc. because of using all our $$ to look for a place to live move and pay transfers etc. We literally spent 1,500 just to look for a place and move twice. and had to disburse our payment plans which took 4mo. to get caught up. Don't bother moving here. Stay away from this slum lord. You'll pay dearly. If management tries to do anything else about my review, then I will post more updates.

I used to live in these apartments and hated every minute of it myself. I never really had a bad experience with management like that though. Maybe Barbara wasn't there at the time. Sounds like management and the home office needs a copy of the landlord/tenant statutes. They could get in some serious trouble for not taking care of health issues like roaches, etc.

THe place had roaches and ants all over it. NOTHING EVER WORKED. I swear, a "the water wont be working sign" was on our door every day. There were leaks in the celing and the office was no help at all. They sent us a move out list which showed we owed nothing and then turned us over to collections without contacting us for 500 dollars worth of carpet stains...because of pets? WE DIDNT HAVE PETS! and the carpet was spotless. on top of that, they arent ever in the office during regular hours and are just plain rude. *******************Oh and the violence.....a taxi driver was killed in our complex in the middle of the night and they failed to let the residence know.******************** My goodness am I glad to be out of there.

We lived there. We had signed a 12 month lease and left after 6 months. We had a MAJOR flea infestation. After 3 months of dealing with it and the "pest control company", we had had it. We demanded that we be let out of our lease. Due to them having to bomb our apartment, spray our carpets and then have it all cleaned, we had to stay in a hotel on numerous occasions. What a crap community. We were eventually let out of our lease, but only after we threatened to file a law suit against them. With all the chemicals they had to spray, my two boys were starting to get sick. I DO NOT recommend this place!!
