I'm a little taken aback by some of the other reviews. Every member of the management have been courteous and professional with me. (I've seen a few tenets who haven't repaid that courtesy to them.)
I've only had two reasons to call maintenance in the past year: the air conditioner didn't work, and the kitchen faucet started to drip. I used their web-based request form for the A/C, and a friendly gentleman showed up within an hour to fix it. I called the faucet repair in while I was at work, and they had it repaired by the time I came home.
Parking fills up pretty quickly around 5pm, which is pretty much standard at any complex. There are enough spaces to be withing a reasonable distance to my building. My apartment overlooks the parking lot, which is not exactly picturesque, but is preferable to some other views I've had in the past.
My building is pretty quiet. I rarely hear the neighbors, and there have been three or four loud parties downstairs, while I was home, during the past year. The worst bug I've had inside was a wasp, came in through the fireplace. No ants, no roaches. There used to be an issue with tenets leaving piles of trash outside of their doors for a few days to a week. This has largely stopped in my building due to the new doorside trash pickup. ($20/mo service, which is rather steep to me, but is marginally cheaper than some other area apartments with the same offering.)
Even with an upcoming increase in rent, I'm having a difficult time finding a comparable or better offering in my desired area. (I should also note the management was already investigating with their corporate office about trying to reduce the size of the rent increase before I went and talked with them.) I'm waiting to see what they come up with, but I will likely renew due to the hassle of moving.
