Two Thumbs Down

If I had more thumbs, I would give them more than just two down. Be prepared to fork over some serious cash if planning on moving into one of these units. Your water is billed by the average of what the entire unit has used for that month. So, if you conserve water, you are paying pretty much the water for those who live around you. They also bill you $5 a month to have the trash dumpsters emptied. My average water/trash bill was $40 a month. I am just a single female and had to fork that much over. There is practically no padding under the carpet so it makes it feel like you are constantly walking on cement. Be very wary of your surroundings for the unit that you choose. The one I chose ended up having a basketball court located right outside (didn't realize this until the day I moved in). There is a light that shines down on the court all night with no curfew set on it. So, people could play outside whenever they desire and disturb you. Cigarette smoke can penetrate into your apartment from those around you. Be prepared to walk a far distance to get to your assigned covered parking spot. Also, if you like to work out, be sure you have a gym membership. The equipment in the weight room was either totally broken, yet to be serviced, or not working properly. Their motto is "committed to providing exceptional value to our residents". I'm sorry, but I never saw any evidence of that during the entire year I lived there. Or, shall I say, survived there.
