When I first moved in, I was so excited. Where else in Plano could I find a decent appearing apartment with covered parking for under $700 a month' Very few. Little did I know that I was in for maintenance issue after maintenance issue. AC went out; took 4 days to get it fixed (in August!) because no one bothered listening to the message. That's the part you need to watch out for. The office staff doesn't always listen to messages left on the machine. I had a leak that they had to come in to fix. They didn't clean up their mess, threw something in my trash can, and I ended up with maggots.

After I complained, I was informed there was a new manager on property who wasn't aware of my previous problems. She has been great. I will say there seemed to be some improvements after she took over. She was quick to respond and that was helpful. The girls in the office are very nice as well.

Now we received word that there have been 3 burglaries in the last 4 weeks. The notice said 4 weeks, not 3 weeks. Does that concern me' Absolutely, as I routinely walk my dog at all hours. I certainly don't want to be constantly worrying about my safety. Due to the repeated maintenance issues and the now present safety concern, I will not be renewing my lease next month and am moving to a new community.

This isn't about complaining. I used this particular site in choosing this apartment and my next one as well. I feel this gives all interested parties more information that they can't get anywhere else. I never saw any evidence of racism as expressed in other reviews, but that's my opinion.

Old appliances (seriously old)
Small bathroom (in average 1BR apt)
Very little cabinet or storage space in either kitchen or bathroom
Utility bills very high ($250 in January; $180 August for 600 SF apt)
