I am a current resident. my lease is ending and i am getting out of here as fast as i can (for way too many reasons!)!
The first and foremost is my safety. i live alone, and honestly, I DO NOT FEEL SAFE HERE! in the past month, the cops have been here more than 12 times. the crime scene unit has been here twice (in the last month.) i go out to walk my dog and i am FOLLOWED. I never leave my apartment without mace and my phone in hand.

they LOOK nice. but it's the residents that make this complex so terrible!

(OH YEAH) and they advertise 2 spa's, but don't let that fool you. they filled one in with cement!!!!!!! the other spa is never clean and never even on!

they closed down the fitness center to build a new one. they said it would be completed in around 30 days. it's been three months and they aren't even halfway done. i never see workers there. the management rarely does what they promise. and it's a HUGE disappointment to take the main amenity away with no sign of it reappearing soon.

several people called the police when a man was seen taking pictures of a little girl with a polaroid camera wearing a skirt with her little brother- telling her to pose bending over. (!!!) they did not catch him. if you have children here i would never let them out of your site.

cars get broken into almost every night.

broken glass (beer bottles) EVERYWHERE!

i drive home from work- or to work - and i get stared down by the people that live here. it's almost obscene.

the buildings are cheaply made, in the summer my electricity bill (FOR A ONE BEDROOM!) was almost $200 and the tempature never dropped below 88 degrees. it was stifling.

other residents have NO courtesey for neighbors- being LOUD everynight of the week, loud music, yelling, breaking things, sometimes until 4am. if i'm lucky they'll wind down around 2.

serious domestic violence issues with couples that live near me. living here, i saw a man closed fisted, repetively beating a girl for the first time.

my neighbor got a $25 fine for having a computer chair on his balcony, yet others have matteress, several trash bags that sit there for weeks and smell, old cardboard boxes full of junk and they are not penalized.

there is always trash everywhere.

about half of the time it smells like poo, as there is a farm store across the street.

for my next home i am definately going to do my research. i learned my lesson here.

I could say so many more things about this place, it would blow your mind. overall, i would never recommend spring creek apts to anyone.

the only good thing about this place was the maintence guys. they were friendly and extremely helpful when i needed them. i wish all of the places i lived had guys like that. they are spring creeks main asset!
