I wrote a response to someone writing a review, and was told i must be an employee. I am not. I live at Spring Creek and head the management company for other complexes. I have lived at Spring Creek for over a year, and while there are problems (my unit flooded, my A/C was down in the summer, my heat wasn't working well at the beginning of winter, my sink was badly repaired before move in and started cracking, my carpet had huge spots on it when i moved in, many people parked in my carport, noisy neighbors) I know what to do about the problems because I am in this business, and I hope I can help inform some of you all that are having problems. I am definateely not excusing the management of their wrong-doings. I have, and will always, have a problem with Elexa, she is just incompetent and unaware as to how to do her job. As for problems you are having with work orders, and getting items fixed, just calling will have no effect. The ideal thing to do is send a certified letter after the first call that is unanswered, and with this, they will have to respond. And while contacting the corporate office is always nice (and makes you feel like you actually got through to someone), they can't always do anything about it from where they are, except put in another request that items be done. Look at your lease agreement, this is always the best place to go for any issues, and ALWAYS read the whole document before you sign. There are many lease agreements that are for the landlord and not the tenant, you want to make sure what you are signing is something that suits you. Ask them to make changes if necessary, it is possible, and it is done elsewhere. You can really be screwed by a complex if you don't know what you are doing. I have had many problems, but I have addressed them in a letter, and they have been handled promtly because of this. And while it seems so easy - sign the lease, pay the rent every month on time, and everything will be great - that is not how it is anywhere. The complexes I have are nothing like Spring Creek, they do not provide any sort of "extras", they are strictly "pay your rent or you will be kicked out immediately", you all are welcome to come rent from my company. If more people become aware of what they can do to get things fixed, our frustrations will be lowered and our community will be better!

I have lived here for a year now. The worst day I've seen living here so far is the day my previous upstairs neighbors moved out.
If I could afford it, I would pay their rent to have them move back, because I can promise you, if I knew then, what I know now, I would have.
These.. "people" that moved in above me are a complete nightmare. They are beyond a nightmare.
It is literally driving me insane trying to figure out how these "people" can NEVER sit down. Almost as if they don't have furniture. I'm not kidding, from 6am until sometimes 2-3am, it's a constant rumbling, stomping, banging, jumping, running session, every-single-day.
And the best part of it? It's two "adults" and, what I'm only guessing is one of the two's parents(who I'm willing to bet AREN'T on the lease).
I have confronted them 3 times the first two months of them moving in.
I have complained to the management 3 times over the past two months.. the manager even game me her personal phone number to invite her over if it continued.(I've never called her, though).
The manager stated a "letter of infraction" was going to be given to them. After the last "infraction" letter was given, it continues, and to some degree, even worse.
I have lowered myself to their level by banging very firmly on my ceiling with my mop. The funny thing is, it stops. It actually stops!
But they must have a memory problem, because the very next day, it was right back at it, hard and heavy.
The last confrontation was Christmas night, when the "man" of the house had some people over that proceeded to do some sort of rhythmic type dance on my ceiling, which of course causes the hanging pan rack to shudder and shake. I didn't know if maybe they had a kid or something, but no, the "man" of the house said no, no... it's just "me and my wife".. now, for some odd reason I don't believe that statement, because I've see the older couple sitting in the back of their car the 4 or 5 times I've had the pleasure of making eye contact when parking my car.
The manager said I needed to call the law, but I really don't think it has gotten to that point yet. I somehow think that maybe the Manager is still responsible for their actions.
I don't know. Maybe it's me. Maybe this is just how it is living on the first floor. Maybe I'm just making it out to be more than it is.
Maybe everyone, including the manager, is wrong in saying I need to call the cops on them when it gets rough.
But then again, maybe if I yell one more time at the top of my lungs they'll get the hint, or bang on the ceiling one more time they'll take the hint.
Maybe I'll finally get so pissed off I'll have an aneurysm and won't have to deal with it anymore.
And then again, maybe not.
I've thought about calling the cops several times, but haven't.
Maybe tonight will be the night!!!
Any suggestions??

Elexis the accountant should be FIRED for her incompetence and her always charging people for crap that totally isnt true. Its amazing shes still there, she is ripping people off left and right and she KNOWS it. Should people continue to be ripped off, I dont thinks so, and she is so rude and arrogant and nasty when you try to ask her anything!
Talk to the manager "Deborah" if you are having any problems with getting maintenance to do someting in your apt., or you can't understand them because they dont speak english or whatever else. Like the guy above said if they dont respond send a certified letter, they will respond then.
