Not only was my boyfriend's motorcycle's ignition torn out, my truck was rammed mulitple times purposly, my roommate's date had his truck stolen from the parking lot and was gutted, AND one night all the cars outside my apartment were paintballed. What makes this story worse is that this all happened within the first 4 months of our lease! After repeatily asking for more security to be added and the gates (which are still broken and have been since we moved in) to be fixed, more crime was still committed. i wouldn't waste your time on this apartment complex. Though some (select few) employees in the front office are nice, the complex is just way to big for such an irresponsible small mng. team.

Ah that's nothing. One day we walked out to notice our car bumped up on the curb with a nice big dent in the rear bumper. The front wheels were literally all up on the sidewalk. And I know damn well I didn't park it that way. Then a couple years later, we parked in front of a grassy area facing away from the apts. - big mistake. We had a turn signal lamp ripped right out leaving a gaping hole. It was very, very expenisve to repair and would have been even more if we had to replace the wire harness. This could be related to the fact they don't do background checks on people moving in here. Therefore they tend to let anyone in. And because the last few years were bad for the Dallas rental industry, to make money and fill the apts. they just let whoever rent. What is interesting is if you look at Austin's rental policies most apartments there DO do background checks. You asked for increased security? GOOD LUCK! That cracked me up. Thanks for the laugh. Not bloody likely. But keep in mind the staff was GIGANTIC just a few years ago under Centergate, they had lots of people in the front office and a large staff. I noticed now that Nolan has chopped it down to a bare minumum, and on the weekends GOOD LUCK finding ANY leasing agents to talk to. Most people I see walking in and inqiuring about apts. to rent walk right back out. And yes, this is a huge complex, 700 apts. Not sure about the gates...I know the front ones by the office do open and close properly, but the side ones I have seen wide open for long periods of time. The prices are a bit lower than other apts. but hey, guess you get what you pay for. Also if someome is reading this I recommend NOT renting an apt. in the back of the community. The middle to the front is the best place to be I think, maybe including around the middle (largest) pool where the little mini-golf course is (never seen anyone using that, never seen any golf clubs or balls anywhere). |
