I know lots of people complain when they don't get their way, but in this case it is different. We first leased an apartment, which they gave to someone else two week before we were supose to move in, then the way they try to solve the problem is making us buy a more expensive apartment. We finally raised hell, and they gave us a wonderful deal. For a while we were happy, until the carport outside our bedroom window started breaking apart. We have told Management about this 2 months ago and nothing has been done. When we talk to them, they said parts needed to be order, then after 3 weeks, we followed up, and find out the parts were not ordered. Now, they say the parts have been ordered, but the weather is too bad. (We've had 2 thunderstorms in the past two months!) Once the weather was great, we went back to management to complain, we were told that a contractor has to come in to fix the tin that is falling down. It makes awful noise and is dangerous!

Of course, now we are told it's hard to find a contractor that can fix the carport, and their own maintence guys cannot do it. How many excuses are going to be made before one problem could be fixed'! Additionally, Management would not give us the number to the corporate headquarters to file a complaint. They think they are doing everything to fix the problem, but they also refuse to take down the broken parts so noise will stop. So, I've done my own research and the number for all the residents to corporate is 816-753-8380. On their answering machine, it says they will get back to you in 24 hours.

I'm disappoint in the lack of professionalism and amount of excuses given. I bet if they had to be woken up almost every night to this noise, the problem would have been fixed a long time ago.

Oh I understand completely how you feel. My air conditioner broke last summer during a time when temperatures were about 110 degrees during the day and it took them forever to fix it. My air conditioner ran for 60 hours straight without turning off at all and the apartment was still 90 degrees. My poor pets were overheating in there, even though I had a fan blowing on them. I dealt with everything from getting hung up on by the answering service to being told that the manager didn't want to talk to me when I asked to speak with her. It was absolutely ridiculous! It took them over a week to fix my air conditioner, and that was after I called and bugged them about it several times a day. They wouldn't give me the number for corporate either and I was unable to find it at the time. I finally threatened to get an attorney and sue them for not providing livable conditions. After I threatened this a couple of times, they finally came and fixed the air conditioner. However, during that time I lost several nights of sleep and had to go stay with my boyfriend so I could sleep at all. It was beyond horrid. I advise all people to stay away from this complex.

Again people remember the certified letter, they will respond because legally they have to. No response after first request send them a certified letter.
