My husband and I lived there for 3 years from 03-06. For the first year it was a great complex. Then it started going down hill and quickly! We complained about beer bottles being broken in our drive way and in the road leading to our drive way several times. They never cleaned it up. We had to clean it up ourselves. We complained about another tenant who would lay behind my husband work truck for hours and he would also stair at our apartment. He would follow me when I walked my dog. He also followed my car into the garage and watched me get out of my car. The management told us they couldn't do anything about it. The gates were always broken. We were paying good money to live in a gated community. When thefts started to rise we expected the gates to be fixed. They weren't. We never received a notice from them saying there had been thefts. We had to learn by other tenants. When we moved out, we closed the washer hook up all the way. My husband is a big guy and he made sure it was shut off. We walked in the apartment the next morning and the faucet had leaked all night. The laundry room, hall, half the kitchen, and half the living room was swimming in water. We called manangement and they told us not to worry about it. They were going to replace the carpet anyways since we had lived there for 3 years. We made sure it was not going to leak anymore and we went on and cleaned everything else. We received a bill 2 months later for over $300 for carpet. We have disputed it and fought it. All they want is their money. Everybody that I have talked to and lived around when I was there hated that place and the three management groups that had come and gone through our time there. Please spend the extra money and go across town or go up to Allen, but stay far away from this place!
