I lived at this apartment community for 9-10 years, since it was known as Jefferson at Spring Creek until the new name of Giovanna Apartment Homes. I have seen this community during the best and worst times and can honestly report that it is not something to recommend. Why did I stay so long' Good question ... busy I guess is the best answer. I should have left about 7 years ago.

During this time I have experienced a murder in an apartment in the same building/floor, my neighbors floor falling in and multiple floods from unknown and frequent water issues. The management and maintenance attempt to keep the grounds well kept and clean, but don't expect any service from maintenance within the apartments. Beware for single females and the maintenance department - they come in whenever they want and do not leave any notes. Keep your kids safe.

This complex has serious water issues in their apartments with frequent floods and leaks. When the water leaks occur (and before) your air conditioner will stop working. Don't be surprised if you have to wait 3 weeks in 100 degree heat to have your AC repaired (that's a known fact). Put all the work orders in that you want, they will be 'lost'. If you go to the office management, they are very cruel and unprofessional many times. Their concern is getting people in the apartment, but their appears to be no care or commitment once you are in their system.

Noise: It has been increasingly worse. Cars at all hours of the night and day racing by and alarming. I have experienced listening to fist fights outside as well which does bring the police department. Neighbors, terrible most of the time - and I had many over the years. The last few were evicted for non payment of rent.

My family felt unsafe to visit me. My friends ... I kept them away for their own safety. Me, it was horrible for the past 7 years. Plano is a great place to live and this is not an area you would expect these issues. But, there are serious issues in all respects.

The day I checked out, the management office made me wait an hour until I could hand them my keys - par for their course. They made me wait while they signed up a new renter. I just pray they didn't get my apartment. But, it was the best thing I have done in a long time, leaving. Beware, one and all.
