Make sure you walk your apartment with management before moving out, because they may hit you with an outrageous bill that you can't do anything about. They sent us a bill for over 1000 dollars to replace carpet (that by Texas law, has to be replaced by the apartment every 18 months) Because they are losing money, because no one wants to live in this sorry apartment they feel the need to charge the crap out of their residents as opposed to winning them over with great customer service. Hope no one else makes this same mistake, and it truly is my goal to make sure they lose all business so they dont take advantage of another person

I totally AGREE with you. I did walk mine with them and told Traci that I wanted to dispute the charges and she said to call corporate that she doesn't deal with that stuff. My carpet was 7 years old and they charged me 40%. Corporate wont return my calls so I have to take them to court. A waist of my time and theirs but it will be worth it cause the previous owners told me that the warranty was 3 years. Even if your apt is trashed they will only charge you for carpet cause you were right, they cant get anyone to live there, they dropped the prices 3 times, the maintenance and staff keep changing and the staff is sooooo rude. I was told when you move out to use a video camera instead of a actual camera cause video holds up better in court. Wish I could've warned you, sorry!!!! Hopefully they will lose alot of business and Aspen Square will have to cut their loses.

I AGREE as well. I also walked mine through, but Traci would not do it, so I told her I would not leave the office til it was done. So, she sent the maintenance manager. She gave me some excuse about not leaving the office alone. Well, what does she think happens when she goes off to show apartments? I made him sign a paper stateing everything was clean and in operating order. They do need to hire people with better customer service skills. RYAN, was the worst. That place really needs to be investigated. It was the worst year ever. This is to anybody that reads this. Always make them give you a copy of any checks for rent or anything else, with their signature and date. Apartments will try to say you paid late to get you for late fees. Do not use that overnight box, things always seem to get lost! I will never refer someone to live there, 1 year was enough!
