Great Experience

I have lived here for almost one year and I would recommend living here. The only downside I can think of is the rate increase from year to year. When I took my lease in February of 2007, I locked in at $960 per month for a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhome, including a detached garage. I'm moving to be closer to my office, but received my offer for next year and the rate they're offering me increased to $1100. In my opinion, that's a pretty high increase.

However, with that being said, I would still recommend TOCH. The office has always been very professional and pleasant to deal with. There is PLENTY of parking, the tenants are on average above average and primarily white collar residents. I disagree with the noise comments and for the most part, never hear my neighbor. I keep my a/c on about 70 year round and the highest bill I ever received was $140, which isn't too bad considering it's a 2 story townhome.

Be careful when reading these reviews. This was probably the best renting experience I've ever had but the reviews don't necessarily reflect that. Good luck!

I sincerely apologize if my comment was misunderstood. A commonly used definition of a white-collar employee is as follows: "Refers to employees who perform knowledge work, such as those in professional, managerial or administrative positions." The term is not indicative toward race, ethnicity or religious background. The term does however; paint an idiom in regards to the type of residence that can be located within this specific property. By no means am I stating that white-collar professionals are more enhanced or in a better or worse position than professionals within other industries. When searching for an apartment or home, location and demographics are a vital decision making factor for many individuals. My intent was simply to provide likely prospects with my personal opinions regarding former experiences encountered as a tenant. My review consisted of positive renting features such as proficient insulation resulting in cost effective electricity bills, no-to- low noise levels, ample parking availability, a professional staff and reasonable rates. I made one comment among several referencing the average tenant, and it seems that the one inference that was made in regards to the median career level was the only factor you took away from my review. Lastly, I would like to point your attention to the disclaimer I stated in the last paragraph asking consumers to be careful when reviewing the comments posted. This would include my excerpt as well as others. I was providing my personal experiences to consumers which is the objective of websites such as this. Thank you for your response.

I am well aware of the definition of "white collar." I never said anything about race, nationality, or religion. You defensively brought that up a a result of your value system (which further indicates the nature of your mentality.) The fact still stands that you determine the quality of an apartment community by the standards of employment. The phrase "white collar" is a reference point for social class (which you cannot refute is stastically associated with one's race, nationality, and at times religion- since you brought it up.) It is that type of mentality that has created "legal segregation" and barriers in the modern housing market. I understand that you have the right to post your opinion as do I to respond. I just hope that for future reference, you consider your choice of words. As a personal disclaimer, I do not intend to offend you with my previous entry. I am a social worker and quite sensitive to that type of commentary. The population of people that I serve are greatly and negatively affected (in more ways than one) by the mentality indicated by your choice of words. I just want to encourage social acceptance. That's all. Nevertheless, I appreciated your other references about your experiences to aid me in my search for a new home. It's just that any interest I had in the property was negatively affected by that particular statement. With regards........
