If you're reading this, keep in mind - the bad reviews on this place are probably from people that just always have something to complain about. If you're not one of those types, read my review. Anyway, I lived here for a year and had a good experience living here. Now I'm moving because I simply want to be closer to work in order to save on fuel.
Parking: I received a covered spot right in front of my unit - so I can't complain. Not sure if everyone gets that though. When I lived in Addison Circle, I had to park in a garage and walk about 75 yards to get to my apartment - so this was one of the reasons I moved here.
Location - Pros: I think one of the best things about this complex is it's location. I liked the fact that there were a lot of good restaurants in the area, the Shops at Willow Bend mall, a Cinemark movie theater etc. On top of that there's pretty good highway and road access- Quick access to get to the Shops at Legacy, and all the stuff up in Frisco around Stonebriar Mall. Cons: The complex seems to be in a cell phone "dead zone" - my phone usually ranged from having none to 2 bars of signal. The cell companies are to blame for not having enough cell towers though. If that's a problem, check your cell phone signal when you're touring.
Construction/Noise - Pros: The building appeared to be well put together and attractive. Cons: I lived on the first cloor, and could easily hear my upstairs neighbor walking around. That's the way most apartments are built and what you've got to deal with if you're on the 1st floor. The energy savings from being on the 1st floor compensated for that though.
Appliances - Good fridge, good microwave, good gas stove and oven, A/C and heater worked pretty good.
Maintenance - Pros: Whenever I had a problem with something I would call the maintenance hotline and it would be fixed that day or the next. Cons: Nothing bad in my opinion.
Staff: Pros: The property staff was easy to deal with... also they hold a monthly brunch, free for the residents. Cons: Don't have any.
Neighbors: I was fortunate to have some pretty quiet neighbors. As I said above, I could hear my upstairs neighbor walk around at times, but that's typical for apartments. Aside from that little issue, I liked my neighbors and felt as though they were good people.
Bottom Line: For what I paid, I feel as though I got a pretty good deal. I'd recommend this place to other people that want to live in this area.
