I have lived here since August. 2002. The management does change frequently - and really everything was fine until Windsor took over. The property has gone down hill, and I'm wondering if we even have maint. guys around here' I transferred from a one bedroom (at the end and completion) of my lease to a two bedroom. I paid the $500 transfer fee (what's up with that). We have stains all over the carpet, broken blinds, broken electrical sockets (can I say fire hazard), and chewed up doors. Yes, you read that correctly, chewed up doors. Apparently, the tenant before us had a dog, or two, or three - and didn't like being kept in the hall bathroom or bedroom.
We also live next to a zoo... Oh, that's right. Plano doesn't have a zoo. But Tuscany Villas does!!! And it's not like your normal zoo where you can walk about and not worry about poop every step you take. No, at Tuscany Villas, you have the experience to dodge these land mines that cover the property.
Thin walls, bad neighbors, riffraff coming in, kids vandalizing things, I could go on and on.
And if you like to lay out and swim in the hot months, this place is NOT for you. We have a SWAMP during the summer. Oh, and the business center....let me translate that for you.... a cubby with two computers, always broken, sticky covered keyboards and mice. There is a copy machine and fax -but those are just for looks. Don't ever try to use them... they aren't real! Well- they are -but haven't functioned in over a year!
So, my advice -stay away... stay far far away!
We are going at the end of our lease!
