Connor Group ruined this place!!!

Oh boy, let's start with my favorite.
They called me 3 months prior to discuss the renewal of my lease in April of 2007.
I had my meeting with the office person and we discussed my likes and dislikes most of which were all of the threatening pieces of paper on my door about trash and pets.
Said she would get back with me on some questions and meet again to discuss the lease.
ONE WEEK before they needed my 60 notice to vacate I get told that my rent is going up $100/month and if I sign more than a year it will be $50.
Let me tell you I was steamed! I live check to check so this was not good news and only gave me a week to decide and with my busy work schedule had no time to look else where (I should have).
I tried to sign for 2 years so the rent would be locked in only to have management tell me that they will only let me go 18 months so that they do not have too many people moving out at the same time.
Window sills literally bow when it storms flooding my kitchen and bedroom.
Insulation is extremely poor ($250 electric for 600 square feet''').
Came to fix the sliding glass door which is completely amature workmanship and I could have done better myself.
Cars with expired tags and inspection sitting in the parking lot.
I've reported a guy riding a dirt bike in the parking lot at about 40 miles per hour (hello kids live here) 3 times and still see him doing it.
As someone mentioned before where are our speed bumps''' If I see someone speeding in the parking lot I literaly stand in the way until they slow down since the corner I live on has 3 families with kids.
Now I'm into my new lease and my girlfriend and I would love to move in together but have to pay $1000 transfer fee for a 2 bedroom''' Office people cannot tell you what it includes except the trained response.
"It covers an unexpected transfer since you are moving out.
It covers the cleaning of both apartments." No where in their office do they have a break down of this and no where is this info listed in your lease to sign.
It is a suprise form that you sign when you transfer.
In order to get the break down they have to have their lawyers send me a letter in the mail with it.
WTF''' So now I have to pay more rent, $1000 (for them to clean both apartments which they would do anyway) and can't explain anything it covers.
This Connor Group that has taken over is all about the money and not the customer service side of things.
Exceptions can be made in order to keep tenants happy and loyal enough to stay.
I've lived there since 2005 and never cause any fuss and pay my rent on time (missed one) and for them not to work with people is extremely wrong.
They always have to quote "it's our corporate policy and I'm sorry if you do not like it." If you can find a better place to live then do it.

UPDATE #2: Well this issue is all at an end now. Thank you ASHLEY!!! After being ignored for almost a week an a half and my angry phone call we can now recall some of the comments about the management. Of course this took more work than it should have an if I'd gotten my call back in a timely manner this all could have been avoided. I'm a supervisor in a call center so if people would expect a timely response from me I would expect the same.
The Solution: No app. fee for my girlfriend, $1000 transfer fee is now only $500. Since we were quoted the wrong pricing on the apartment we are getting a B2 or Acentri for $929 instead of the $979. Now we did leverage a bit with the transfer fee by stating we would lease for 18 months (their win as they make more money).
Needless to say that all this could have been done without me going nuclear but I'm ok with the outcome. It just goes to show you that they do not hold the upper hand. Sometimes you have to get their attention.

Yeah you think that the office gave you a good deal dont sign an 18 month lease you are going to get screwed in the long run, trust me it happened to me and I know for a fact the connor group does not give a sh** about the residents its all about making money for themselves and oh btw the new water company they switched to, to supposedly better the residents; well they own that company!!!!!!!
