amazingly bad management

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2007
I lived in these apartments for almost 3 years.
I have seen 6 different managers come through and it just gets worse & worse.
Every single thing that they can overcharge you for, they will.
Lose your mailbox key' $75 dollar fee.
Lose your gate opener' $50 dollar fee.
If you dont' pay your rent exactly on the first...
$75 dollar fee and that fine will grow.
Heaven forbid you have to go out of town over the end of the month and not be able to pay by the first...
You have two options...
pay prior to leaving, or do a debit card transaction over the phone...
Guess what' It's a $30 fee to do a debit card transaction.
Don't ever report a problem with anything that should be maintained by the apartment (i.e.
plumbing, A/C..) it'll take 2 months to have it resolved.
Try living in the July/August heat and have your A/C go out and it takes them 2 weeks to fix it.
My suggestion is go find another apartment complex.
I wouldn't have stayed so long, except they require a 60 day notice to vacate at the end of your contract, and most decent, respectable apartments only have a 30 day advance notice of residents leaving.
Hard to plan a moveout.
I finally became so frustrated that I bought a house and said to heck with them.
