My apartment faced the creek so it is rather pleasant especially on days when you can hear the ducks quacking. The floor plan of my apartment is pretty good and the bathrooms are spacious. The fans and ceiling lights in the bedrooms and living room is a plus. Parking is not a problem here as well.

Now, the bad part. We have had several maintenance issues during our stay here, and sometimes it takes a while for the problem to be fixed. It's either the maintenance didn't come at all and or they come in and noted in the work order that they have fixed something else. Maybe it's a miscommunication between the management (to whom we reported the problem) and the maintenance staff but it can be quite frustrating if your problem doesn't get fixed for several days and you have to make multiple phone calls.

We feel that maintenance could have been more diligent as well. Last year, we had freezing rain in the area. It rained the whole day and by night time there was a layer of ice on the steps leading from the apartment. That night, we wanted to go out and was using the staircase but when I stepped on the first step, I basically slipped on the ice and slid all the way down the whole flight of stairs. My husband who was trying to catch me slipped down the same way as well. If I remember correctly, the stairs still weren't salted when we returned later that day and was only salted the following day. It was a good thing that we didn't suffer any major injuries other than some scrapes and bruises.

In spite of all that, I would still recommend the place as I think the nice environment here overrides any issue that I may have with the maintenance/management people.
