We have lived in VPC for 6 months and will be moving out soon into a house. The positives: I really like the large shade trees and walking paths. Lots of paths to walk your dog. The facilities are quite nice - large pool with jacuzzi, workout center, pool table, playground, indoor basketball court, dog park, etc. . The staff was very friendly and maintenance took care of issues for us (NOTE: we are polite and friendly to maintenance staff, not rude - that helps!). The negatives: I don't think they are very well insulated - our AC ran a lot - recommend avoiding the 2nd floor due to the higher cooling bills in summer. The biggest problem is that the entire place is full of foreigners - so that they don't edit my words out I'll tell where they are from - the ones from across the ocean whose nationality starts with the letter eye (get it). They make up about 85% of the population at VPC in my estimate. I am not racist, in fact I have a really good friend from that country (but he is Hindu, perhaps the rude ones are different'), it's just that most of them are VERY rude and stare at you. I would say hello and they just walk by, stare, and don't say a word - a few are polite and will greet you but most do not! They go out of their way to stare at you even when you don't. The rudeness makes you feel very uncomfortable. I have no idea why there are so many of them here at VPC, but people of European decent all agree the 'others' are extremely rude and this makes us want to move out asap. It is true that the others have taken over - in fact they are usually the only ones you will see at the playground, volleyball court, and basketball court (playing badminton by the way, despite the sign on the door stating it is only to be used for basketball). If you don't mind the others then this is a nice place - otherwise find another apt.

you should gather up your people of european descent, draw swastikas and plot a holocaust against these "others" you keep mentioning. I'm being sarcastic of course. bigotry is so uncivilized. People of a different culture will obviously act differently than us of european descent, and thats that, maybe it's rude for a stranger to talk and/or greet to another person's wife/husband, in their culture. A wife might get disowned and sent back to her family in their native country where life is not as good as it is here, just for saying hi to a strange man of european descent. She might get stoned to death even. You seem like u want to be respected, you should respect others and karma will see to it that u are given the respect you deserve. u should step out of your little bubble and learn about world cultures, u might be pleasantly surprised at what u might learn. or not, you're in america, land of the free.

I knew somebody would have a problem with factual information. The point is 'the others' outwardly show their dislike (possible hatred) for people of a different race/culture. There is absolutely nothing wrong with me letting potential renters know the facts so they can avoid being in such an uncomfortable situation. Fyi I didn't read all your post and won't be reading nor answering any more so don't waste your time. The facts stand as originally posted. If you don't like it go talk to the offensive people here about their attitude.
