jan.-'05...I currently live at AMLI, which actually just got bought out. There is new ownership now, and we are not AMLI anymore, we are Villas at Chase Oaks. So all the management that has been there since i moved in is gone, there is brand new management. So far they have been ok, but its only been a week! The girls in there before were great! Lets see....OLDER apartment complex, if your looking for new appliances, fixtures, something bright and new, this is not the place for you, its just dated. I have to walk around the building to get to my apt., its not close to where my parking space is at all, which is kind of scary at night. The walkway lights leading to my apt. (when i moved in) we're all blown out, so i called the office and they were fixed the next day. Maintenance is great. Parking closeness will depend on where your apt. is, there is no ceiling light in my bedroom which is ODD! if you have a pet the deposit is pretty steep and non-refundable, late fees are $50 the 1st day and $10 every day after that, which is general, make sure you read the fine print when signing the lease so you know everything ahead of time, that was a mistake we made! Overall im not miserable, but im ready for my lease to be up so that i can get a apt that is not so old!!! LOTS OF TREES! Oh, and one more MAJOR issue...your water bill is HIGH!!!! your building shares a central water boiler, so your bill is divided by the use of water in your WHOLE building, so my one bedroom apt with ONE bath usually is a $50 water bill EACH MONTH, keep that in mind!!! $$$$$
