We lived there a couple of years ago. We literally had to threaten them with legal action to get a flooding problem taken care of. Our 2nd bedroom carpeting was soaked due to the rain coming in.
So the contractor comes out (they only had one maintenance guy at the time, and he mostly cleaned out the pools) and pulls away the rotten baseboard and some of the wallboard. "Uh-oh" he says. TERMITES! So he stops because there were termites in the walls. We told management and a few days later a note appeared on our door saying, "You're apartment was sprayed for pests." If anyone knows anything about termite eradication, you know that you can't get rid of them by spraying a couple of puffs of pesticide!!
Well that was the last straw. We did not enjoy being on the first floor as it was VERY noisy above us, particularly because a couple of partying college students lived above us and would come right up to our bedroom window late at night and make a drunken racket (bedroom windows on 1st floors are RIGHT AT the bottom of the stairwell landings).
We also had ant problems, rotting wood outdoor supports, and a host of other fun stuff. Our neighbors were equally fed up as they dealt with 2 massive leaks - one in their bathroom and one in their living room. The workmen refused to clean the mess from the bathroom leak - leaving black mold and grime everywhere, not to mention the stink. And the tenants above them had to have part of their floor replaced and could not use their kitchen for quite some time. Also their stairwell actually SHOOK! It was LOOSE! How safe is THAT!!
Okay, hopefully they have new management in there now. It's a new year. But when we were there, we noticed it going downhill fast. They were also allowing dangerous dogs in there, pit bulls, etc, and the residents coming in were a rougher crowd.
They fix up the outside, but totally ignore the inside. It's falling apart!
My advice, AVOID THESE APARTMENTS!!

RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I must of moved into this same Apartment.
I have had multiple floods in the the spare bathroom, which flooded the entire unit. I have seen Roaches, I've had and flying ant invasion in the apartment from the workers hitting the hive. Guess how they got in? Through the broken window seal in my master bedroom. I had to find a place to move until they called pest control. When I moved in My spare bedroom, was missing a closed door, it took 5 months for them to put it up, I had to buy my own shower rods. Multiple calls to maintance has been unanswered.
I can go on and on and on.
Air unit doesn't work, in the summer time the apt stays at 90 degrees.
Um Can we say child neglect.
My stairwells are very shaky, I have to tell my child "Don't hold on to the rail" How sick is that?
Needless to say, I am packing my stuff.
