Ok - Lived here 13 month could not wait for my lease to end! Never, Never Again. The apartments look good on the surface - but make sure you look deeper. During the time that I lived there they spent money on repainting and installing usless shutters on the outside of the building but it took 8 months and 5 maintenance requests to get them to come look at the stairwell to my apartment (the bolts where falling out) when they finally got a contractor out there all of the wood was rotten out and the stairs where quite literally about to fall. Their where roaches and fire ants everywhere (we even had a trail of ants painted onto our wall). The lenolium started peeling up a month after we moved in. Lord forbid if you have to have any repairs done when you move out - they charge a highly inflated rate ($150 for a hollow wood door - that you can get at home depot for $40). Heating costs are outragiouse (no isulation I would assume)- water is overprices thanks to there allocation program.

I was very happy to renew my lease this month. Water is much less than I paid monthly for my house. Heating costs are for electric heat but many apartments include a fireplace. What happened to the door that they charged for it?? We have not had a problem with roaches. In Texas, it is hard to control ants but if you don't leave food out it's not a problem. I'm very happy here. Maintenance does a great job, as do the office staff. BTW... outdoor stairs here are not made of wood. They are iron and concrete... hmmmmmmmm

For one I am a very clean person - never left food out. BTW - in regaurds to the ants painted into the wall - they didn't paint after we moved in so it was obiously a problem befor we got there. You are lucky if you have not had any problems with roaches, I know ALOT of people there that have. I was also very carefull about trying to prevent ants - since my oldest daughter is very alergic to ant bites, since I couldn't get anyone to treat for them I tryed ant baits, sprays, boric acid (again never left food out) they where still everywhere. Since then I have lived in a two-level townhouse with no problems with bugs and I am currently living in a single story house, and again no problems with bugs. Ummmmmm - BTW yes the stairs are iron and concrete but they are mounted to wood at the top of the stairwells. Actually I am renting a house right now and I am paying less for water (in plano) than I was at waterford. Oh, the door was damaged acidentally when moving. Not everyone who rights a bad review are horrible liers - most of us just had a bad experiance.
