dazzling at first, then fizzles to a disaster

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
This was my first apartment. We were wowed by the apartment that we viewed and signed a lease immediately. From the 2nd week, our nightmares began. Things kept breaking down, we couldn't get maitenence to fix anything. Our balcony railing was falling off (we lived on the second floor) and we couldn't even get that fixed.
Our AC broke at the start of summer and we were told that it couldn't be fixed due to a breaker issue. Texas. In summer. No AC.
The living room floor developed a sinking in the middle that we had to put a coffee table over.
With regards to managment, they are all idiots. I couldn't get them to fax something over to my new apartment complex, and I moved in late because of it.
Reconsider your choices before you live here.
