The Management is Bad News!

I lived at Waters Edge for almost 3-years. During that time, it changed ownership and all the ------- that ran the place were let go. Then for some unknown reason within a year or so, the new owner brought the "bad news" manager back. Now with all this change, all the upgrades that I was promised in signing my 3rd year lease, went out the window. Seems all the addendums to my lease were lost, none of the upgrades were ever effectuated. I had to move because of employment, and had to break my lease 3-months short of the end date. They failed to attempt to mitigate their losses as they are required by law to do, and billed me for the entire 3-month period 3-weeks after I moved out. When I attempted to have them show proof of attempt to rent my unit, they ignored me and turned me over to a collection agency for the full amount of my lease, which had been reduced significantly with incentives to re-sign. Their reasoning was that since I broke my lease, all incentives went away. The manager of the complex is not only arrogant, but is downright rude. She has no people skills what-so-ever, and I can't imagine why Lincoln Properties ever hired her back. Maybe they felt they needed a "card carrying -----" to run the place, but tenant relations is not her long suit. She does not represent that corporation very well. By the way, because of their failure to show attempted mitigation of their loss on my lease, I was able to reduce the amount they were trying to collect. If you're thinking about leasing at this place, ask to meet the manager. You'll have an opportunity to experience about 50 lbs of attitude, because she can't turn it off. Then turn around and run away as fast and as far as you can.

NOT Lincoln Property Mngmnt during this Era? Hmmm, wonder why Litigation/Credit Hassles say so? They hung OUR Mayor Howard out to dry along with his Beagle, after living there 6 years or so. Many others too...

Nope. It was Larry Peel, then Henry S Miller. And MAYOR Howard harassed his neighbors so badly they felt threatened and moved out. He threw bags of poop at people and at their doors.
Doing your homework would be a good start!
