I would not recommend anyone to consider making Waters Edge Apartments their next home. I lived here five (5) years ago when it was under different management, and it was a great place to live. I recently moved back before the ink had a chance to dry on my 12 month lease, I began to experience the management office's negligence in responding to my service requests. Upon move in the apartment was fithy: floors were dirty, tubs, sinks, toilets, vanity tops, and counter tops were dirty. The refrigerator was leaking water and the master bedroom window leaked, a terrible order resides under the kitchen sink cabinet. It has been in the last 30 days that the service requests have been attended. The refrigerator was just replaced--they 2 maintenance men put a gash in the entry way wall entering the dinning into the kitchen area. Furthermore, they forgot to turn on (not to be confused with plugging it in) the refrigerator and when I returned home from a long weekend, all of my food was rotten. There was well over $200 worth of food. One of the (many) "managers" determined based in a conversation with the maintenance man (men) that I lied and I was offered $75 off my rent. ...that remains to be seen! I have recently spoken with another resident who shared my dissatifaction with the leasing management staff and was told that there were many disgruntled residents at Waters Edge Apartments. If you are reading this review, please do not make the same mistake I did, and ignore this or the other derrogatory statements regarding the Waters Edge Apartment, Legacy in Plano, TX. I hope the power of numbers to will bring change to the way this community is "managed". If you happen to be a current resident, I encourage you to write to Greystar Properties, Better Business Bureau, Texas Renters Association and Greg Abbott, Attorney General. Beautiful community with expensive rent and horrible management!!!
