Yes, mothers and mothers thinking about moving into Water's Edge... BEWARE and don't take your children to the family pool unless you want them to learn the F-WORD amoung many others, see skimpy bikinis, watch young adults get drunk, listen to overbearing loud music, etc. It is like a Fraternity party sometimes starting around six PM on week days and all day Saturday and Sunday lasting far into the night even though the pool is SUPPOSED to close at 10:00 PM. These so called young adults have no respect for the people who live there. I'm also told that most of them don't even live there, but it has become the "Party Spot". If I want my two children to swim, it must be during the day during the week, but of course I have to work. I have been told that management has been told about this problem for the past couple of years and they CHOOSE to do nothing about it. It is such a shame as the pool can be a very beautiful area to spend time. When you talk to the people in the office, they make it sound like you are the problem.

So, my advice to Moms is to stay away and wait until you can move.

I can't wait until my lease is up to move to another location.

A concerned Mother

There is so much more to say but the overall review is that the office management, or Greystar itself does not care about enforcing the rules period. I totally agree with the previous review of the new residents that have been allowed to move in. There are some REALLY shady people that are here now and its becoming South Dallas subsidized apts as mentioned earlier. Why lease to just anyone that can plop down a deposit and have some form of credit? There has also been a rash of burglaries recently and management but out a flier recently telling residents to be more aware. How about not leasing to the people that cant afford to live here and dont care about the property? How about fixing the gates that are constantly wide open and broken? Somebody in the office needs to step-up and address this concern as it is out of hand and they know it. My family and I are extremely disappointed in the lack of management. We are aware that Stacy was away on maternity leave but assumed that things would be dealt with when she returned but unfortunately this simply isnt the case. In the 3 years we have been here this is no doubt the worst it has ever been. I think a Town Hall meeting is called for and Greystar needs to make some radical changes or we to will be moving. Greystar please help!

None of the pool "rules" are enforced which includes a limit of two guests per resident, thus making it impossible for residents to take their family/children to the pool. There are a couple of non-residents from last summer who show up every weekend and routinely use the bushes to relieve themselves in broad daylight and with other young children nearby. Management must be lowering their standards/requirements for new residents because it's looking more like government subsidized apartments rather than "luxury" apartments advertised. The so-called trash regulations aren't enforced either. Numerous bags of trash lay all over the complex every Saturday and Sunday despite the threat to fine offenders $100 per bag. Seems to be alot of illiterate folks who can't read and follow simple rules.

I moved out of this complex a year ago and am so thankful. The office has no concern for the residents and even in extreme circumstances such as a gas leak they act like there's something wrong with the resident. What?....you came home to an apartment full of gas at 8:00 PM that had been reported to our office at 4:00 PM? So what are you so upset about you had to evacuate yourself and your pets for the night? What's wrong with you? Why are you upset? Soooo glad I am out of that apartment. For you others I will pray for you. So sorry you have to deal with them.

Whats wrong with skimpy bikinis?? As for the ''family pool'' may I suggest you take your kids to the lap pool behind the fitness center. Its quiter over there and your kids can scream their bloody heads off and not disturb others. Rush/Palin 2012

watersedgedude is an [enter expletive here]. I am all for this apartment, but he makes this place look bad. As to the comment "There are some REALLY shady people that are here now and its becoming South Dallas subsidized apts as mentioned earlier. Why lease to just anyone that can plop down a deposit and have some form of credit?" and "Management must be lowering their standards/requirements for new residents because it's looking more like government subsidized apartments rather than "luxury" apartments advertised"; Yay discrimination! Why don't we just put the --------Americans into their own complex, and the Jews and Atheists and Families and "so called young adults".
