Strand Lofts 2400 Mechanic St, Galveston, TX 100% Recommended Dec 8, 2004 - " I love the apartment that I'm in; it's a beautiful space, well-maintained, great light, reasonably quiet in the building. The building manager is fantastic! The down side? The neighborhood. The weekend nights are extremely noisy due to noise (read: drunk people) from the streets.
