I have been a resident for nearly two years and have had two different apartments.

Parking was never a problem. I generally got the same (unassigned) spot daily.

My first apartment was nice, except for the fact that I could hear every tiny step my upstairs neighbors took. What's worse is their floorboards squeaked as well. If they weren't stomping around, they were on their patio laughing it up, which could be heard clearly in my bedroom...at midnight. Either the walls were thin enough to hear my upstairs neighbor snoring or a train was passing through every single night. And the icing on the cake: I frequently woke up to the sound of my upstairs neighbors having sex at 6AM.

In the apartment I am at now, I have no one above me. However, the neighbors and their six million kids run, scream, yell and play outside every chance they get. Parents are no where in sight to control them and tell them to pick up their toys out of the middle of the road. I love children, I really do, but it's just a little too much sometimes.

The grounds are kept clean for the most part. I don't know if they have a problem with trash pick up, but quite a few times I've noticed trash over flowing from the bins (more than one) over the weekend.

Living alone, safety is an issue for me. Without revealing too much... one incident occured where I felt my safety could be compromised. I notified management and with their response I felt that they were brushing me off as being stupid and paranoid. It did not seem like they cared one bit and only did something because I made a specific request.

The mail boxes have been broken into quite a few times, but I was only notified after maybe the fourth time it happened.

When I moved into my 2nd apartment, it was such a quick turn around, they missed all the details. I had numerous leaks, the heater wasn't working properly and doors jammed. they "fixed" everything rather quickly. However, the same problems are coming back. The water pressure in the shower is HORRIBLE. Worst I have ever seen in my life. I haven't complained again because I hate them coming into my apartment.

They frequently come into your apartment for whatever reason. They do give notice, but I feel it is too much. They hired a third party to do additional insulation in the apartments, and they left me a nice present: a dirty, greasy rag in the middle of the floor. And they also left their greasy paw prints on a cell phone I had in my bedroom.

I absolutely and utterly hate the management team. When I first moved in, a nice gentleman helped me with everything. Months later he was gone and there was a new management team. I truly believe they have a vendetta against me and can't wait until I'm gone.

I did an on-site transfer and it was the worst help ever. Instead of a single person taking care of me, three people "took care of me", including management. One person told me "everything tranferred", such as deposits. What a lie!!!! I paid $300 in addition to a new deposits. They neglected to tell me that it is a new lease, not that I would finish out the term of my old lease in the new apartment. THEY BASICALLY EXPECTED ME TO KNOW EVERYTHING WITHOUT TELLING ME ANYTHING. I also believe they do not understand the laws involved with managing an apartment complex. As long as they're getting a check from you, they are happy.

I detest the assistant property manager. While trying to resolve an issue, she was rude, did not listen, kept interrupting me and basically gave the impression that, although i had facts to back me up, i was wrong and she was right because she was the big bad assistant property manager. she made smart ass remarks at me when i pointed out her error. i hate dealing with her. i thought my previous apartment was bad, but they never talked down to me or tried to belittle me!

in closing, it is not a half bad place to live as long as you don't live by yourself and you live on the 3rd floor with nice neighbors under you and just pray that you NEVER have any problems because they will piss you off to the point you want to punch a hole in the wall.
