This is by far the best review i have seen that even gives you evidence of the crime going on in the area. I went the website that you provided and bingo...there it all was. Thank you, thank you.....I am sincerely going to rethink my move.

I will have to agree with the crime. I do not live in these apartments but I live across the street in the Arboretum Estates. We have had several breakins..probably 8 in the past 2 months, one was hit 2 times. This is a bad area although the apts. are pretty the burglars like what they see here too. I would look somewhere more safe.

Well the area is a great place to live. Great location with access to major highways. Crime is going to happen everywhere and it seems like they hit the nicer apartments. Camden is great about informing its tenets when something like this happens. If you are concerned about your car they have garages to rent.

You know, I have quite a bit of expensive things, both in my home and garage. However, I feel much safer at these apartments then any other I have lived in. The gates seem to always be closed during the hours they should, and yes, the office is very quick to advise us tenants what WE can do to PREVENT crime. Like another said, crime is going to happen anywhere you go, especially when your talking about "nicer" apartments. Camden is quite literally the best bang for your buck, that is, if you get in when the time is right. I spoke w/a few tenants before moving in who have resigned their leases. Why? Because they love it here, and they didn't even jack the rate. I relocated to Dallas from Minneapolis, crime here period is horrible. I think the DFW is pretty high on the list for metros with a high crime rate. I was living in a pretty bad area when I first moved here. Moved to Arlington, Brown Blvd and 360 at The Creek at Brookhollow. I tell ya, those apartments aren't too bad, price is good, but the gates are almost always stuck open, and crime happened there all the time. Everything from prostitution, to drug rings, to several break-ins. However, I kept to myself, got to know my neighbors, and guess what, my nice motorcycle, vehicle, and apt were never broken into. Had my apt been broken into, I had $40k worth of equipment in there. I moved simply because the neighborhood is horrible, plus I didn't like the layout of the apt. Camden is absolutely wonderful. They offer so many amenities at such a low price that this is truly the best bang for your buck! Like I said before, crime happens everywhere. Especially in Dallas! So get used to it. If you want to avoid crime, hide your valuables, and get to know thy neighbors!
