PARKING SUCKS!!

GREAT, SO NOW THEY ARE GOING TO MAKE THE PARKING SITUATION GO FROM REALLY BAD TO EVEN WORSE BY PUTTING IN RESERVED AND COVERED SPACES. I HAVE LIVED IN APTS. FOR OVER TEN YEARS, AND RESERVED/COVERED SPACES ARE A WASTE OF MONEY FOR SEVERAL REASONS. FIRST OF ALL, PEOPLE PARK IN YOUR SPACE ANYWAY, AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT (EXCEPT FOR LETTING THE AIR OUT OF THEIR TIRES.) IF YOU CALL THE OFFICE, THEY DO NOT HANDLE THIS PROBLEM. THEY WILL TELL YOU TO CALL THE TOWING COMPANY. THE TOWING COMPANY WILL THEN PROCEED TO TELL YOU THAT THEY MAY OR MAY NOT COME OUT, AND IF THEY DO IT COULD TAKE SEVERAL HOURS. IN ADDITION, YOU MUST BE HOME IN ORDER TO SHOW PROOF THAT THE PARKING SPACE IS YOURS, AND YOU MUST SIGN PAPER WORK STATING THAT YOU HAD THE CAR TOWED!! WHAT A PAIN, NOT WORTH IT. SECOND OF ALL, IF YOU COME IN AT 2AM AND SOMEONE IS IN YOUR SPACE, WHAT CAN YOU DO'...CALL THE TOWING COMPANY AND WAIT SIX HOURS FOR THEM TO MAYBE COME OUT...I DON'T THINK SO, AT 2AM YOU'RE READY TO GO TO BED, YOU DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH A TOW TRUCK GUY. THIRD, THIS IS ESPECIALLY FRUSTRATING FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE A COVERED OR RESERVED SPACE. THEY COME HOME AND SEE PLENTY OF PARKING SPACES, BUT THEY ARE ALL RESERVED SO THEY CAN'T PARK THERE. THIS IS UNFAIR IF PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE RESERVED SPACES AREN'T HOME OR ARE OUT OF TOWN FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME, BECAUSE THE WHOLE TIME THEY ARE GONE A PARKING SPOT IS GOING TO WASTE. FOURTH, I HAVE FRIENDS WHO DON'T EVEN WANT TO COVER OVER TO MY APT. ANYMORE, BECAUSE THE PARKING HERE SUCKS SO BAD. SO NOW I ALWAYS HAVE TO GO TO THEIR PLACE. FIFTH, I DON'T EVEN WANT TO GO OUT AT NIGHT ANYMORE, BECAUSE I KNOW THAT WHEN I GET HOME I WILL HAVE TO HIKE A FEW MILES WITH GROCERIES IN ONE HAND AND MY 2 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IN THE OTHER HAND JUST TO GET TO MY APARTMENT (THIS ESPECIALLY SUCKS WHEN IT IS RAINING AND COLD.) THIS RESERVED PARKING IDEA IS BAD FOR THE WHOLE APT. COMMUNITY. RESIDENTS THAT GET THE RESERVED PARKING WILL HAVE PEOPLE PARKING IN THEIR SPOT ALL THE TIME, AND THERE WON'T BE MUCH THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT; AND THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE RESERVED PARKING WILL FEEL THE FRUSTRATION OF ALL THESE EMPTY RESERVED SPACES, BUT NOT BEING ABLE TO PARKING THERE BECAUSE THEY ARE RESERVED! IT REALLY UPSETS ME THAT MGMT. IS GOING TO TRY TO MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT COVERED/RESERVED PARKING WILL ALLEVIATE THE PROBLEM, WHEN IN REALITY ALL IT DOES IT CREATE EVEN MORE PROBLEMS FOR ALL THE RESIDENTS AND PUTS MORE MONEY IN THE POCKETBOOKS OF THOSE WHO OWN THIS PROPERTY! THEY NEED TO START THINKING MORE ABOUT THEIR RESIDENTS. IF THEY REALLY WANTED TO SOLVE THE PARKING PROBLEM, ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IT PUT IN MORE PARKING...BUT, NO THAT WOULD BE TOO EASY. IT WOULD COST THEM MONEY TO DO THIS, AND IN THE SHORT TERM THEY WOULDN'T PROFIT FROM THIS. HOWEVER, IN THE LONG RUN THEY WOULD PROFIT BECAUSE RESIDENTS WOULD SPREAD THE WORD TO FRIENDS AND CO-WORKERS THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH PARKING HERE, AND THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED BY THE PROPERTY COMPANY BY PUTTING IN MORE SPACES. THIS WOULD GIVE THE APTS. A POSITIVE REPUTATION FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, AND IN RETURN MORE PEOPLE WOULD WANT TO LIVE HERE. I WORK AT ONE OF LARGEST EMPLOYERS IN THE DALLAS AREA. WHEN SOMEONE NEW TO THE DALLAS AREA STARTS AT WORK, THEY ARE USUALLY LOOK FOR AN APARTMENT. THEY OFTEN ASK ME IF I RECOMMEND CLEARWATER CREEK. I TELL THEM, "NO WAY, THE PARKING IS TERRIBLE. STAY AWAY." HOWEVER, THE ONLY GRIPE I HAVE ABOUT THIS PLACE IS THE PARKING. EVERYTHING ELSE IS GREAT. I WOULD DEFINITELY BE RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE IF IT WEREN'T FOR THE PARKING ISSUE.
