no joke. we lived next to some crack dealer who was busted not once but twice. the kids are never outside past dusk because anyone who values their lives doesn't let them out. i have been jumped twice. first time i fought the guy off me and beat him with a large rock and he ran off. i decided from then on to get my conceal and carry license and thank god i did because no more than 2 weeks later the guy was waiting for me to pull up with three of his friends and all i had to do was pull out my 45 and they literally fell over each other running away.

now, on to the apts themselves, if that's what you want to call them. the staff pulled the old SWITCHAROO on us when we leased. they showed us a decent looking CLEAN apt. then after we leased they told us our place would be slightly diffrent, their reasoning was "since you dont have any children were giving that place to someone with kids and moved you to an 'identical' place" which sounded reasonable until they didnt walk us to our apt. just handed us a paper to report any damages so were not charged for them when we move out. the second we walked up, the door was in the door frame crooked and there was duct tape holding the light up, which coincidently didn't even work. the carpets were stained the sink leaked, the master bedroom had spray paint that had been lightly painted over. the maitenance were illegals that didnt speak a WORD of english and never knew what they were doing.

one of their "skilled electricians" zapped himself trying to fix our air conditioning unit and i started crying laughing and then he yelled at me in spanish and took off. and it was NEVER FIXED. a full winter with air blowing through the rickety windows. freezing at night and no matter how much i complained it was NEVER FIXED!

rats, roaches, mold and no help from their pest control people that are CONSTANTLY COMING IN MY APT WHEN IM NOT EVEN HOME. twice we had things stolen and had to file police reports for our two most PRICELESS "smoking devices".

when we left they tried to stick us with a huge bill for many things that we reported on our initial paperwork on the apt and they threatened to sue and i brought myself back to their office, which i swore i would never return to, and cussed her a$$ showing her picture proof that none of the damages were our fault and their company SWIFTLY wrote me an extensive appology note and dropped the lawsuit.

im ranting i know but im still furious as to how i was treated and it had to be said.
