This place is still the "Habitat Apt"....the name change did not help. They change their office staff on a regular and in these changes no one knows what the heck is going on or what has taken place previous to them. These are the folks that will attempt to bleed you dry for a $50 water bill. No where in the lease is there a notice of late charges for this, but they constantly try to put extra fees on the residents who actually pay rent. This is also a place that places a curfew on "grown" "working" adults. Lord forbid you pull up in a parking place and try to finish a phone conversation....security will notify you that you are LOITERING. This was broad day and way before the curfew time of 11p.m. Yes, over age 21' You still have a complex curfew of 11 p.m. Initially, I thought that was for the kids (teens), nope that is for all. Anyone in a group of 4 or more are involved in some form of gang activity. So me and my daughter sitting in my personal vehicle were loitering for sitting all of 3 mins.
DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE. I AM ON THE WAY OUT!!!!!!!

I have already submitted a complaint via this site earlier this year also and just so everyone will know, I MOVED OUT too! I requested via certified mail the name & contact information of the owner of the complex...I never received that information from them. Now that I'm in my own 3 bedroom home, they try to send a bill over $1900 saying I owe them and threatening to report it to the credit bureaus. Well, I say, FEEL FREE TO DO JUST THAT! I will not pay them one red cent IF I did owe them (which I do not). These are the worse SLUM apartments I have EVER lived in and I say that everyone with a complaint on here, regardless of if you stayed there or moved out, should rally together and file a class action lawsuit against them! I'm all for it. They harrass you, their security staff harrass you, the office personnel are VERY inexperienced and RUDE! They do harrass the working tenants coming and going late at night as if EVERYONE there is illegal. I use to leave out for work late and would be harrassed TRYING TO GET TO WORK!!! I have all documentation, video footage/recordings of all their evil deeds and am ready to blast it on all news stations. Get the media involved with them and start having cameras appearing and exposing their unethical practices. As a matter of fact, I'll start with my previous complaint entry and even this one. With all other complaints and what I had to record so that I could have my own back...they'll be interested! Send all your complaints, issues, maintenance requests, and disputes to the slum leasing office IN WRITING VIA CERTIFIED MAIL and more than once if you have to. Trust, it'll matter in the end because they will swear up and down you didn't notify them on things. Keep your side of business professional and legal with them regardless of how arrogant and stupid they are to you. It'll only show them up in the end for who they truly are. The main thing I have to say about them and the females that work in that office is that GOD SEE'S ALL and they have children and families and WHAT COMES AROUND WILL GO AROUND....KARMA WILL EAT THEM UP because you can't treat good people any kind of way and expect good to come at you or your kids. Your offspring can suffer the consequences of your sins!!! Who knows, one of their kids might end up working for or having to rent from one of their residents one day. Wow! Powerful. So they can keep letting ----- use them to bring hell and havoc to hard working people in the midst of days and times like these. As if you need anything like this when you come in from a hard days work and dealing with RISD schools, functions, etc. You should be able to come home and live in peace! NOT AT FRANCES WAY VILLAS!!! IT'S HELL ON EARTH!!! I'm soooo glad I left that mess & it's worth it to MOVE PEOPLE. TRUST!!! You can do much better elsewhere!!!! I LOVE MY NEW HOME & CAN LIVE IN PEACE WITH NO HARRASSMENT! TO GOD BE ALLLL THE GLORY FOR BLESSING ME OUT OF THAT SITUATION & WHAT HE KNEW TO NOT BE GOOD FOR ME! He allowed me to experience it to not only be a voice against the slum landlords/leasing office there but also so that I can even more so appreciate where I was going. I do appreciate his blessing to me coming out of The Frances Way Villas storm! Again, TO GOD BE ALLLLL THE GLORY!
