I have lived here 2 years too long, we have been blessed to be able to move out of this HORRIBLE apt complex in 4 days...THANK GOD.

1. My car was broken into the first week I moved here, glass was broken, radio stolen.

2.My kids bikes were stolen off my front porch.

3. I have requested for my daughters bedroom closet to be fixed (off track) 3 times. each time they reset it, but they cannot figure out the problem is the track is mounted into a wall that is termite infested.

4. Speaking of termites, we have to shake our clothes off to get those pesky things off our clothes everday.

5. speaking of pesky things, we love the summer time, because winter brings the biggest water bugs you have ever seen. We requested them to close up all holes, but they still come in, and they tell us we'll send someone over to spray. I mean the redish bugs are "BIG".

6. Due to the contruction that has been going on for the 2 yrs I have been here, I have had to get my tires patched so much that when I took them to tire discounters this last time, I was told they could not patch the tire anymore and I would need to by new tires... Worthing Pointe did not care.

7. Parking - There should only be 2 cars per household many tenants have 3-4 cars. This is not maintained, many tenants have cars they do not drive and are just parked. I complained to mngmt, they said they'd do something about it..Not!

8. If you come home after 11pm forget about parking, depending on where in the complex you reside. One day, someone came home and took 1 1/2 parking spaces and this was the only place I could park, so a portion of my tire was on the sidewalk....TOWED!!! $300.00 to get my car out of tow.

9. This past summer was hot, the kids and I really wanted to swim....All summer the pool next to our apt was closed...Oh the re-opened it.... 3 days before school started.

10. If you have kids...especially don't move here, Worthing Pointe is advertising that this is a kid Friendly community, there is no way I would let my kids, walk outside alone Friday - Sunday... it is a race track.

11. One last thing.... don't let your kids take out the trash by themselves... THEY MAY GET Shot (read excerpt below)

16-year-old was shot and seriously wounded when he was taking out the trash Tuesday night at his Richardson apartment. Police responded to a shooting call about 11 p.m. and found the youth lying in the parking lot of the Worthing Pointe Apartments in the 1400 block of Regal Drive. The victim, who was not identified, was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the chest. Police say someone pulled up in a dark-colored car and shot him. I have so many issues with this complex..as I stated Thank God we are able to move.
