Rude management running everyone off, they're all moving out! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 1/20/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   I've complained many times to the regional and corporate offices since the new, rude, and illiterate manager started this past summer. Most recently I complained about racism, she's hostile toward everyone but people of her own kind. So many people have moved out this place it's starting to feel like a ghost town--but I don't blame anyone for leaving, they're doing the right thing. When people register a complaint to either the corporate or the regional office, the regional office protects the management. The corporate office sends all the complaints to regional for handling, so it's a vicious cycle that has yet to produce the result of firing this insane manager, they just won't do it. On December 3, 2006, I went to pay my rent after 5 PM in the night drop box. The new illiterate manager made a sign and taped it over the drop box door preventing people from paying their rent. The sign warned people not to make a payment in the slot, saying that late fees would be assessed, to bring the payment in on the 4th, even though our lease provides for a payment by the 3rd of each month with no specified time, meaning that the rent is considered late when the office opens on the 4th of each month. I just pulled up the tape, stuck my payment in, and complained to every office Equity Apartments has asking to fire this new, egomaniacal, illiterate, dictatorial idiot, and threatened to sue if I was assessed illegal late fees. Well, the woman is still here, but every month fewer and fewer residents are, they're all running like crazy. Every week since this nutcase started here, I see at least one moving truck, moving people out. This week I've seen three trucks so far, even with all this icy weather, they're running! And you should too. Run to anywhere but here! It just gets worse all the time. Avoid, avoid, avoid! And I agree with every complaint you may have read in every other area. They're all telling you the truth.
