great location, excellent management

I'm also surprised at the negative recommendations I've read on this site. I've stayed at many apartments, including other luxury style ones - Marquis at Waterview is up there with the top ones on my list. And as far as the meth lab is concerned, I have yet to live at an apartment where these type of activities do not exist, no matter how luxury it is. I love the layout and style of the property, and they have really innovative floor plans. The property also has a manual operated car wash I use frequently and a long and winding walking path which is great for my dog. They have a catered breakfast every now and then in which I get to meet some of the people here. The only thing I think could be better is the parking. The management told me before I leased that the apartments were originally designed so that each resident could have a garage (depending on floorplan) or one assigned covered parking space. So, if you have another car, it has to be exposed to the elements. However, parking itself is not a problem (I've always found a spot close). The other thing I was worried about was the train tracks that back up to the property. However, it is actually very quiet and Iıve never had a problem with noise. You have to expect some noise from neighbors in any apartment complex, but this is the quietest apartment I've ever lived in (maybe the neighbors just tip toe and whisper'''). The property is also managed very well. The maintenance staff get the work done and the leasing staff are always helpful in the few times I've ever had to deal with them. They stand by their agreements and are very reasonable, but they are not pushovers. I've seen some crazy residents come in the office to give them a hard time about something rediculous that's obviously out of their control and not their fault (I wonder if these residents are the ones who are venting with their negative comments on this site). The staff is as friendly as possible to these people and the staff obviously have it together to not get taken advantage of by these seemingly greedy people. Thankfully, these type of residents are not living next to me (and hopefully will not continue to lease here!). The ones that are surrounding me are very friendly when passing them as I'm leaving or coming or even while out walking my dog. I will definetly be renewing my lease.
