We haven't lived here long, but so far we absolutely love it.
We mainly moved here for the grounds and amenities. So far everything has been great. They have several shaded park areas for me and my daughter to play in, even in the summer heat. All the tennants around us seem very friendly and multicultural, and are there is always someone out and about even later at night. The gates and garages make us feel very safe.
Yes you can hear the train, but from our side of the complex it is very soft and hardly noticible. I hear the neighbor's garages more loudly than the train horn, which sounds only once each time it passes, about once or twice a day.
I have been having maintence problems though, as i have waited all day for them to fix my flooring and some plumbing, but they ahve not arrived. However I am certain if I make a big fuss and demand their 24 hour maintence gaurentee, they will get off their butts.
But the one thing I love most about this place is the insulation. My husband and I were shocked when the airconditioner actually turned off at 2 in the afternoon when the place was 70 degrees and 100 degrees outside. In our old apartment the air ran all day, every day, and it was still never below 75-80.
The place is a bit smaller than my last apartment, but the tall ceilings make it look huge. The kitchen is even bigger than my last apartment, which had almost 200 sqft more space.
So far we absolutely love it. But believe me, if it changes, I will edit my rating immediately.
