Waterview is very random. Some days I'll go into the office, request a repair, get a package, etc, and they will be complete jerks about it...like I'm not paying their salery or anything, and then other days, they are very polite and helpful. Of the tons of repairs I have requested to have done, they have been out here once, and the "repair" was looking at our dryer, asking us if we emptied the lint thingy, and telling us their was nothing wrong with it.....didnt even bother to turn it on, mostly, since the apartment I live in is fairly new, I just keep signed copies of all of the service requests I have filled out that they never can seem to find when i call to check up on them, just so they dont try and blame me for some of this stuff when I move out. Since they are on campus...it makes it a lot easier to motivate yourself to goto class (yea yea, all you college people know what im talkin about) As far as noise level goes....we make most of it, so I cant really complain, my neighbors have actually been fairly nice about it. If your gonna goto UTD, the only reason you should stay in waterview is if you dont think youd ever goto class (like me) if you lived 10 minutes away. If youve got the dicipline, and can get all your classes one after another, move off campus, real nice apt's right off renner behind the university called Marquis at Waterview, heard a ton of good things about them, and I believe they also give student discounts. Oh yea and parking' HAH, It takes about 5 minutes of forewards/backwards to get my truck out of a spot, even harder to get in straight, and thats if you can find one...even though you pay 20 bucks for a stupid parking sticker, which btw, if you dont have, they will ticket you 20 bucks a day til you get one, so just buy one to start out with, we all know its a rip off, lol.
