Faculties ok, employees and management are wolves in sheep's clothing. Smile to your face, stab you in the wallet. Experts at taking advantage of first time on their own freshmen. I'm not sure if the employee who I talked to lied to me about how much the deposit was when I paid it to skim $50 or if the whole management was in on it, at any rate, I paid a $150 deposit and only received around $50. Waterview explained it to me that the deposit was only $100 and they had to clean the dust off the ceiling fan so that was another $50 in cleaning charges. I do not recommend Waterview to anyone, especially students. Just down the road at Plano Parkway and Alma Drive in Plano is "The Oaks at Collin Creek", very nice town homes perfect for students. I understand that Waterview probably doesn't have any control over the UTD Police that patrol the area of the Waterview Apts, but the UTD Police have nothing better to do but harass hard working students while letting reckless ones go wild. Expect many frivolous and costly encounters with UTD police while at Waterview, all the while seeing UTD Police Officers catching under age students with beer and telling them to chug the whole bottle and they won't get in any trouble. One last note: $308 is for a tiny one bedroom in a 4 bedroom dorm/apt with 3 roommates.
