I began living at Waterview Park, Phase 6 starting the Spring Semester of 2002 I believe. Lived there till I graduated in Spring 2004. I took over a lease from a friend.

Parking: You must purchase a parking permit from the UTD Police office, that means that you're rent doesn't pay for your car to be parked there.

Noise: On-campus, so expect loud music in late night hours, screeching tires from wanna-be-cool kids in the parking lot, etc.

Fire Drills: They love to do these when you least expect them. Nothing like getting freaked out by the ear piercing sound of the alarm at noon while you have lunch.

Property grounds: they look ghetto.

Carpet: The carpet in my apartment reminded me of sandpaper..

Maintenance: If you had a problem, they actually did respond in a timely manner.

UTD Police: If they were a TV Show, they'd want to be MIAMI VICE. They are anal retentive about all driving rules and laws. So yeah, you better stop at the stop sign for 3 full seconds, or else expect to be chased down and spike strips deployed.

I recommed looking elsewere for a better UTD experience.
