Waterview Park is the UT-Dallas student housing - apts built on UTD property run by a private party.

Since it is on campus, most people are forced to stay here, given the lack of public transport in the city of Richardson/Dallas.

The place looks good in the exterior, but live here and u?ll see its true colors.

First, starting with the Management: they are utterly rude and could not care less about your concerns. It?s almost like they are doing you a favor by leasing an apt. out to you.

The phase 1 is the oldest and worst phase in the entire community. Cockroaches are part of the family from day one and so are fire ants, spiders and RATS!!! And, not to mention the fact that the toilet clogs up every other day, and nobody gives a damn. Even when it overflowed once, the maintenance staff refused to clean up.

Also, the response to maintenance requests is exremely slow, and you may end up not being able to use your bathroom for days together.

The water heater was almost non-functional - the shower would run cold in 10 minutes.

Well, all in all, STAY AWAY unless



1.you are given an apt. in one of the newer phases(6-8)



2. Hold a UTD scholarship



3. Do not have your own transportation
