I lived in Waterview my freshman and sophomore years attending UTDallas. My sophomore year I had a terrible roomate that trashed the apartment and we ended up having around $300 in cleaning fees. Since I didn't make the mess, I didn't want to be charged for it. Unfortunately, my roomate graduated and the school didn't have a number for her, so they pinned all the charges on me. After having to go above Waterview and First Worthing, I talked to residential life and supposedly got the charges waived after showing pictures of the mess,etc. WELL, now 2 years later AFTER I have graduated, Waterview has screwed up my credit by putting the charges they said they waived on my report!!! When I spoke to the residential life advisor I unfortunately didn't get a contract or anything to prove the waiving of these charges and since that department has such a crappy filing system, they "supposedly" don't have ANY record of me coming in at all. So, needless to say now I can't move into anotehr apartment because I was LIED TO and now TWO YEARS LATER am still having to deal with it!!! The managment at Waterview is terrible and she is still there from when I attended. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money to live in a decent place with managment that actually cares!

Waterview never fixed our carpet after a toilet overflowed. We ALWAYS had roaches and when a fire alarm got tripped off, it took them around 4 HOURS to come turn it off. Try studying with that ringing in your ears. Then they charged us for almost the entire cost of redoing the apartment!!!!
