Unfair

I had been a tenant here for a year with good rental payment history. When my son left for college I wanted to downgrade from a 2-BR to a 1-BR. When I moved in originally I didn't have to pay ANY deposit, but when I wanted to move to the 1-BR they asked me for a $600 deposit. I thought that was absolutely unfair!!! Also, even though you are supposed to give a 60-day notice to vacate, they didn't deliver their offer to renew your lease until 30-days prior to end of term, so if I had planned to vacate that final 30-days my rent would have been $1143 versus what I currently paid, $843. More unfair treatment.
I have to agree with the others - the front office people are rude, very slow and even though you are sitting in the office at their desk nobody seems to ask you if you need help. The maintenance staff is great!
Really a shame because the community, up until the new management came in, were really nice.
