I lived at Dry Creek for seven months in 2009. We moved out at the end of September in 2009. The management and front office staff comes and goes more than the residents. There were three different management staffs in our seven month stent at DCR. My experience with ALL of them was that they think that you, the PAYING tenant, work for them. They were all rude, incompetent, lazy, and overall, useless. When you need something from them, don't expect them to actually help you with what you need. However, the first time that they need something from you, you are expected to bend over backward to accomidate them. If you live by the pool, don't expect to get any sleep. There are people out there at all hours of the night drinking, fighting, having sex, and doing whatever else they please. After 15 doccummented complaints with management, nothing was ever done to police the pool area and enforce the rules stated in the contract. Now, the real reason for my review four months after we have left Hell on Earth. We received in the mail today, a notice from a collections agency saying that We have a passed due balance with DCR of $52. This was news to us as we had a statement, after we paid all of their ridiculous fees when moving out, stating that we had a zero balance with them. After further investigation (on our part of course), we made one last payment to DCR for the exact $52 amount stated in the collections notice. We went into our account online and printed off a copy of the exact check written to DCR for the exact amount that they turned us over to collections for. The check had cleared the account with no problems at all. So, quick re-cap, we paid all fees, no matter how ridiculous, to DCR when we moved out. We then get a letter in the mail from a COLLECTIONS AGENCY saying that we still owed this amount. Here is my main problem with all of this b.s., we left a forwarding address and phone number with DCR. Why was it that we never got a phone call or letter in the mail from them seeking payment? Why was it that they turned us over to collections when they have accurate contact information on us? Why is it that the staff at DCR are incapable of keeping and/or reading their own records? Why did the staff of DCR turn us over to collections when the error was on their end? Why is it that every time we call to talk to the manager about issues, her or she is NEVER there? In general, DCR is by far, the worst apartment experience that I have ever had! Our credit was impeccable before this and I now wonder what actions DCR will take to correct their outrageous mistake. They have possibly just caused me a permanent black mark on my credit due to their extreme lack of competency.

No way a new apartment manager!?!? Never would have guessed that. I have lived here for a year now and I almost died when I saw the new managers name on the monthly news letter. So what does this make number 4 at least in the last year. Wonder how long she will last. O well I'm glad we got that couple out of here. The guy was ok but his other half was a you fill in the blank. I don't live by the pool but I have heard from others that it not very fun. If you do not live here already you are one of the lucky ones. Please take it from me and looks like everyone else...Don't waste your money.

Amen to the above! They do nothing hear in regards to complaints. If you call and complain on tenants for noise, aren't they supposed to be fined as well as, evicted. Nope! You just keep being told to keep calling and complaining. And they keep on doing nothing about everything. This place is not the place I moved into. It is a dump now filled with teenagers who party all the time. I feel like I live near a frat house. Don't move in hear if they offer you a free year!
