I've lived here for a few months. There are some definite drawbacks, but they aren't because of the apartment management, though yes I believe they do change it quite a bit. The maintenance guys are GREAT!

Rent is high for the location. In general the location sucks. We can't have anything other than AT&T home entertainment, you can't get the fastest internet, etc. Dallas is 45 minutes away. Oh and cell phone reception is horrible.

Wait until you need to move out and then you will have a problem. Make sure you take pictures of your apartment when you move out because they will try to tack on extra charges. We even went so far as to hire the "maid service" that the complex uses to make ready the apartments and they still said that we needed to pay extra. Also, it would be a good idea to have something for them to sign when you request a walk-thru saying that your apartment is in great condition and no additional charges will be assessed on your account. Because, someone will do the walk-thru and then the management will say that that person was not qualified to make such an assessment. My advice is be very careful--these people are crafty and need money so bad they'll do anything to get it.
