I recently moved into these apartments and have had a great experience with them. It's 200 times BETTER than my previous apartment complex- Rocking Horse Ranch. The management staff very are friendly when I go in, my service requests are always taken care of the day I request to have something tended to, and although parking isn't super fabulous, the staff is more than willing to accomodate or try to make the accomodations so that parking isn't a burden late at night, even if you have to pay a little more.

I realize there are alot of ratings on here that give a bad name to this complex, but none of what they have written I've experienced. I realize parking isn't always available in some buildings, but that's not the current managements fault. As I understand it, Colonial Properties acquired this property, meaning they didn't build it, and therefore there's nothing they can do about it. You can't just pull parking off the trees, it has to be laid out in the original plans. It is also my understanding that those people living in the buildings where parking is scarce, are getting a discount on garages and carports if they are available. There are 232 apartments in this complex and most people have two cars- you do the math.

As for the landscaping issues, I know first hand there is a landscape company that comes Monday and Wenesday, because they have woken me up. Do I really care' No. It's a part of living in an apartment. I know they trim and edge all the grass, and trees. There are patches of grass that are a little thin, but unless you live in a house where no one can walk or play on the grass, you're going to have that. Otherwise the landscaping is actually pretty nice. Besides, who moves into a complex for the landscaping anyway. You want luxurious landscaping that you don't have to pay for and a house note payment- that equals your rent you have now- Move out of the US, you won't find it here.

There are levels of tolerable noises, that comes with living in an apartment as well. When I have had issues, such as noise after 12am the courtesy officer takes care of it right away, and management has given warnings and issued lease violations.

The office staff does their best to work with the residents. One thing I've learned from these types of rating sites is that people who don't pay their rent, don't read thier lease contract or disconnect the smoke detectors causing the security company and the Fire department to come out probably aren't going to give an unbiased opinion. There are always going to be residents who aren't going to be happy no matter what you do. They will always find something to complain about. You will never really know what a place is going to be like until you live there, and no place will EVER be perfect. Not even your bought and paid for house. Take apartment living for what it is.
