Construction, Bugs, and bad management!

I moved in June of 2002 a month after they opened. The look great, except for the beige carpet that was impossible to keep clean and looked worn in the first year. There was a problem with silverfish when I first moved in but that was taken care of. What happened next should have been on creep show. In the spring Thousand of crickets invade that area, and the front of my apartment was covered with them, some managing to bypass the front door's loose insulation, I had crickets everywhere, yuck! Maintenance ignored my call to fix a non working dishwasher. They told me that if I signed a new lease I'd get a free carpet cleaning, it never happened. Fifteen days after I moved they sent me a bill for $350 for carpet cleaning, painting, etc for things that are normal wear and tear situations... I got my windshield crack driving behind a cement truck near Lewis Henna, and had to deal with construction and bad traffic whether going mopac or I-35.
